Measuring the Impact of Corporate Social Responsibility Courses on Student Awareness and Engagement

Prof. Alexander Wallace

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of corporate social responsibility (CSR) courses on student awareness and engagement within the context of higher education. With an increasing emphasis on ethical business practices, the paper aims to assess the effectiveness of CSR courses in raising students' awareness of social and environmental issues and enhancing their engagement in responsible business practices. Through a mixed-methods approach, combining surveys and qualitative analysis, the research evaluates the outcomes of CSR education, including changes in students' attitudes, behaviors, and perceptions of corporate responsibility. The findings contribute valuable insights to the field of business education, offering educators, policymakers, and institutions a nuanced understanding of the influence of CSR courses on shaping socially conscious and engaged future business leaders. This research seeks to bridge the gap in current literature and provide practical recommendations for optimizing the impact of CSR education in fostering responsible business practices among students.
