Image processing based on interfacing of Raspberry-Pi and FPGA using IoT

Abstract


With the creation of IoT, image processing has advanced to a new level, as IoT has become an important aspect of everyone's life. These systems are developing several applications in the field of image processing, such as image filtering and processing. This system was completed with the help of a low-cost ZedBoard Zynq 7000 FPGA and a Raspberry-pi. The output for the input image was obtained after processing various image processing filters, namely the Gaussian filter, Sharpening filter, and Average filter, and these results were displayed on a VGA monitor. Also Edge detection and grayscale operations were performed on Lena's image, which had a size of 256256. Chip usage has been observed.
