The seed URL, i.e. the secret service from which the crawling originates, is assumed by the dark web crawler. Hidden Wiki is a prominent Tor directory service. The latest Tor version upgrade rendered most of the hidden services mentioned on the Hidden Wiki 2020 page inaccessible. In comparison to the Hidden Wiki 2020 page, the Hidden Wiki 2021 page includes a more restricted range of services. This prompted the authors of the current paper to define the role of the Hidden wiki service in the dark.
