Review of Blockchain Technology's Use in the Healthcare Industry

Abstract

A distributed ledger system called blockchain is able to record secure and ongoing transactions between participants. A lot of interest has been shown in this nascent technology by financial organisations, energy supply companies, academic communities, and the healthcare sector. Blockchain offers open, unbreakable, and secure platforms that can support creative solutions, particularly when used in conjunction with smart contracts. Healthcare applications can benefit from blockchain's decentralisation since it makes it easier to develop distributed healthcare apps that don't rely on a single authority.
