Abstract


Predictive analytics has emerged as a powerful tool in healthcare for forecasting patient outcomes and managing risks. This paper reviews the application of machine learning (ML) models in predicting patient risks, such as readmission rates, sepsis, and adverse events. By utilizing historical medical data, demographic information, and clinical parameters, ML models can provide healthcare providers with real-time insights into patient conditions, enabling early interventions. The paper also addresses challenges in model accuracy, data quality, and integration with existing healthcare systems, while discussing the potential benefits of predictive analytics in improving patient care and reducing operational costs.
