Blockchain and Federated Learning: Securing Vocational Education Data and Enhancing Privacy

Abstract


The growing reliance on digital platforms for vocational education raises significant concerns regarding data security and privacy. This paper investigates the role of blockchain technology and federated learning in securing educational data while enabling collaborative learning. By utilizing blockchain for data immutability and federated learning for decentralized model training, the paper proposes a framework that ensures privacy-preserving data sharing among educational institutions, instructors, and learners. The study highlights the benefits of these technologies in protecting sensitive learner information and discusses the technical and regulatory challenges of their implementation in the context of vocational training.
