UNDERSTANDING OF SUPPLY CHAIN: A REVIEW
Abstract
Supply Chain Management is a system of facilities that creates raw materials, transforms them into intermediate items, and then into finished goods before delivering the finished goods to clients. Depending on the sector and the organisation, different actors play different roles in the supply chain management. Supply Chain Management (SCM) has thus emerged as a crucial topic for producers, experts, and researchers. It is believed that a thorough understanding of the supply chain's overall structure is necessary for efficient supply chain management. Through a thorough study of the available literature, this essay aims to provide the reader a comprehensive picture of supply chain management. It outlines the key supply chain operations and provides a step-by-step process for comprehending a comprehensive supply chain picture.
