Emotion-Aware Mobile Health Monitoring Using AI-Driven Facial Expression Recognition

Abstract


This paper presents an AI-powered system for emotion detection in mobile health (mHealth) platforms through facial expression recognition. By leveraging deep learning models, the system can assess a patient's emotional state, enabling personalized healthcare interventions. The study explores the efficacy of convolutional neural networks (CNNs) for real-time facial emotion analysis, integrated with mobile health applications for mental health monitoring.
